Disabled Kitchen Recipe: Ginger / Garlic Masala

  • 1 cup ginger (sliced)
  • 1 cup garlic (peeled)
  • 3 chopped Serrano pepper (seeded)
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until it's a puree or paste. You may need to stir occasionally to bring the unblended ingredients from the top to the bottom.
  • Put the finished Ginger/Garlic Masala in 1/2 cup freezer containers. Label and freeze.


When preparing meals, remove a container from the freezer and stick it in your fridge the night before. Stores in the fridge for three days.
